Verona in our learningfiberarts group has been teaching us how to make a seminole sampler. I only have a photo of the first two rows so far. I bought some of the fabric when my family was on vacation in Arizona during winter break.
I'm hoping I have enough of the Kokopelli fabric to use for the borders. I like these colors. In my mind they look very southwestern.
Have a creative day.

A strip of Seminole patchwork really looks sharp on bath towels! For a gift, it really has the 'wow' factor. A great way to get cheater seminole in a hurry is with evenly printed striped material. I used a rainbow stripe to make the seminole strip and bordered it in red to make my husband (also a Rector) a stole for the 'red season.' and get more compliments on it!
How big is that seminole you're doing?
and kokopelli...are you lookin for grandchildren or something? !-D
Looks like you are going to have a really interesting seminole. Kokopelli is such an interesting motif.
Dotti, thanks for the great tips. Debra, it's just a lap quilt size, not sure of the final measurement yet. I had to look up the legend of the kokpelli. I had no idea what I was getting into. No grandchildren any time soon here.
